It was International Teachers Day earlier this month and in honour of all the great teachers we have at The Wensleydale School, we are introducing our ‘Meet the teachers’ feature. You may have seen this promoted on our social media which you can follow here.
Julia Polley
First up this week we have head teacher, Julia Polley. We asked Julia with our top three questions. Here is what she said.
1. What is your favourite part of the job?
I love being with the students and teaching them. As a headteacher I don’t get the chance to work directly with students for a lot of my job. However, it is the best part of my week when I’m able to!
2. What is your favourite subject?
Geography, which makes sense considering I am a Geography teacher!
3. Three words to describe The Wensleydale School?
Community, friendly and hardworking!
